i didn't mean to imply *you* would....just that the process of screening
leads to rubber-stamping rejects, which i don't think could ever be an
exact science.

ever "fix" someone else's code? invariably....something *else* usually
breaks, don't it?
my student's handicaps may be contributing to his talents. maybe he
doesn't want anyone to fix him?

i'm not against gene research, or even building people. but i don't think
we should mess with what's coming out naturally. if people want to go the
"grow-yer-own" method, they should let them--but i bet we end up with a
buncha weirdo ken-doll guys running around. only they wouldn't be smooth
under there....
