I thought she said she did it for free?

The problem is, it gets really sticky when you work for the same 
company as an employee and as a contractor.  Or so I'm told.  IRS 
gets very weird about that.

Don't work for free!

Do you notice how often GUYS work for free?  Like, almost never? 
They at least expect to be paid in beer.  But women, oh, we are great 
martyrs.

We give it all up, then feel put upon because we're treated like 
dirt...  well, maybe I'm speaking for my *own* personal history but I 
just got off the phone with a chickey-poo who's like "yeah, I'm only 
half-time, but I'm working full time, as a favor to *big rich boss 
man*"

so knock it off.  ;-)

(btw I think doing contract web work is second only to childbirth in 
it's unique ability to test relationships.)
