Erik, are you sure about this? Do you recall that Saddam's Hussein's air
force dropped poison gas on the Kurds leaving 5000 dead and 7000 injured?
The Kurds that were attacked had the benefit of becoming the first civilian
victims of a chemical attack in world history. A clear and clean attempt at
genocide.

Certainly things have been done even worse than this, and with higher
numbers of casualties. And The US is not innocent of having done some pretty
awful things ourselves. However, so far this particular war has involved a
whole lot of precision-guided missile attacks and direct combat between US
and Iraqi military forces. While the US may not be innocent, certainly this
effort cannot be called "the wrongest thing since Hitler".

It would be irresponsible for you to say that this war is just if you truly
don't feel that it is. But saying things like "(this) is the wrongest thing
since Hitler" is not responsible either, is it?
