Solange appears to be a fairly old French (or Portuguese?) name. The most
common web hits are:
- Solange Knowles, little sister of Beyonce Knowles of Destiny's Child
- Solange Lecarrio, French-Vietnamese porn star
- Saint Solange of Bourges, France, a shepherdess who was murdered by her
landlord for resisting his sexual advances
