Here's a competition between the US secretary of state and the UK Home
Secretary: Who has less clue?

Blunkett:
'He ... questioned the credibility of reports by the al-Jazeera channel
when its reporters are "only there because they are provided with
facilities and support from the regime"'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/2912055.stm

And this is different from the 'embedded' journalists with the UK/US
forces, how?
(leaving aside that al-Jazeera have since been thrown out of Baghdad,
presumably for being too objective)

Powell:

Trying to get a UN resolution that post-legitimises the war, and EU money
to channel into US companies to rebuild Iraq.

Does he never learn? Is this supposed to restore good relations with the
EU?

Cheers
Martin
