I was just wanting to explain the impact of the actions of governments on common
people. I can't do anything more if someone deliberately refuses to get my
point.

> By watching and believing CNN as the gospel truth ?

I do NOT watch CNN. I cannot access them through TV. I read their site only.

I too don't believe them. Specially news about science. But when it comes to
politics, I do NOT have only one source of information. Link to CNN.com pages
are merely references to some BIG news.

> I guess you are more american than you want to admit.

Now *I am not* getting your point.

This proves my point which you refer as "illogical method of disliking people".
If acts of just a *single, common* citizen can effect the whole picture of a
country (and also its people) then governments' acts have bigger effects on the
reputation of their countries and people.

I think you are a good admirer of feminine beauty.

I met an Indian (Hindu) in Pakistan about 4 years ago. We talked about places to
visit and the religious agents who bother people. I intentionally always avoided
politics specially Pakistan-India relations and Occupied Kashmir.
He once or twice tried to discuss Kashmir issue but I turned the conversation to
tourism potentials in Pakistan and India and history of his family background.
His name was Pyaray Laal. I think he was a nice guy. I met his wife too.

This again proves my point. If you have a specific reputation of a country (or
its people) in your mind, you'll always expect the same attitude from the new
people of that country (whom you meet). As the time passes and you understand
them personally, you begin to deal them as personalities rather than as citizen
of a country. We have many people in Pakistan who were specially treated and
highly respected in China and Turkey just because they were from Pakistan. Same
people may complain some extra checking on some airport of USA. It all depends
on the reputation of Pakistan, which is good in China and Turkey but
comparatively bad in USA (Pakistan is one of those 25 countries whose people had
to register in USA).

I receives news from CNN.com daily by e-mail. I read the selected detailed news
about once or twice a week. I mostly read news about Science or Showbiz
Personalities whom I like. But I don't post such links very often.
I like to see movies (specially Hollywood movies). Once or twice, I thought to
ask about personal reviews from TheChat members about some specific movies
that I haven't watched and want to watch. But I never asked.
I don't drink beer, wine etc. Drinking milk isn't any special thing for me. I
don't have interest in women. I play PlayStation and watch cricket sometimes.
(I am not satisfied the new cricket team of Pakistan that's why I am away from
cricket nowadays.)

It is very difficult to have more than one wives in Pakistan due to following
reasons:
1. Social Pressure
2. Financial Problems
3. Strong Jealousy between Wives

> If you want, I can ask them for their phone numbers in Lahore and give it

Ask them for phone numbers and tell them about me. I hope they'll not give you
the numbers unless they have some practical joke in their minds.
