That list price, or actual price? Can't think of any major vendor who's 
selling at cover price here. And of course, hardback prices are always 
over-blown.

Wouldn't expect that any of these are true:
1) She has say over the pricepoint
2) She gets paid more for for more expensive books
3) The book revenues (other than the advance) are a significant part of 
her income these days.
