Not sure this is written by a journo... it's been doing the rounds on the 
net for about a month now, mostly without attribution. Still if it is 
written by a hack, they oughta bold go get another career. What a bunch of 
sensationalist crap.

Still, it *is* pretty cool. Even a cheapo telescope can make out things 
like the receding ice cap at the southern pole.
