This is pretty disgusting I know, but unless the bar person places a fresh
bowl of whatever in front of me I never eat bar snacks. The reason is that
so many people go to the toilet, don't wash their hands and then stick the
aforementioned hands into the free food. Thought I better mention this as a
potential health hazard.
One possible way around this (and I've never seen it done so it may be too
expensive) would be to have bread sticks and dips, i.e. individual things
that you can grab and not worry about contamination so much.
By the way, I seem to remember you asking us lowly mortals to suggest a name
for your restaurant. Have you made your mind up yet, and, more importantly,
did my contribution win :)  ?
