Actually, it seems to be Barb that maintains the site, 
rather than Snopes. For the most part, she doesn't 
come up with the stuff on her own, but archives stuff 
from news://alt.folklore.urban. The other urban 
legends sites, and Cecil Adams' site sorta keep an 
eye on each other.

The AFUista are a pretty skeptical crew, and there's 
not much that gets past them.
