Yeah, we call them traffic circles where I'm from (New Jersey).  In Jersey
traffic circles are complicated by differing customs on who has the right of
way.  When I learned how to drive I was told that in South Jersey you had
the right of way when you were entering the circle, but in North Jersey you
had the right of way when you were in the circle. :P  Basically the
unwritten rule is...don't stop.  I live in Pittsburgh now, and there are
some similar things but by and large there aren't any real traffic circles.

I can just hear the bad NJ jokes coming...
