I used to have this very old customer who, on my first day, croaked 
out: "I wanna highball!"

What this meant: I want a short highball glass, filled 3/4 with ice, 
then a shot of Old Crow with a splash of water.

I had to be trained, and it was annoying to him that he had to train me.

But I like these kinds of customers, because once you learn their 
drink, you never have to ask again.   Also, once you learn their 
drink, they are happy with you, because you are trained, and all they 
have to do is yell "I wanna highball!"  They are happy, you are happy.

damn rednecks.  They usually don't tip well, either.
