I posted this up last year, don't know if any of you volunteered, but here
it is again. This is an opportunity for you to do something really rewarding
over the Christmas holidays, work in a homeless shelter. Every year in
London the main shelters close down, so Crisis organize several temporary
shelters in the capital so the homeless have somewhere to go. You do not
need any particular skills to work there, just loads of enthusiasm and a
willingness to get your hands dirty. Sometimes you just spend hours talking
to people, often the guests have fascinating stories to tell. It is hard
work, but it is a lot of fun as well. If you are interested, or even
