wow, terry those are beautiful shots.
look at that fire burn!
woo hoo!

though I have to say I think our
northern california fires
are more beautiful.

for one thing, they are less cluttered with power grids,
highways, fences, cars, and homes.

for another, the plants
and trees

are bigger and greener up north...
and so then afterward there are all these charred canyon walls and
black skeletal tree trunks, very dramatic
without all that pesky

destruction of human
accoutrements.
