You'll still find big uses for inter-machine communication, anyway. I 
was transferring a full install of Baldur's Gate 2 from one machine to 
another the other day, due to one machine not being able to install it 
properly, and believe me, a 100mbps network instead of a 10mbps network 
would have been *greatly* appreciated while transferring ~2.5GB.
