In recognition of the many north-of-the-border folk on thechat, I humbly 
propose the old Scots measurement of the mutchkin (used, unsuprisingly, for 
measuring whisky, it seems). No calculator I can find, but from playing 
around at <http://www.gwydir.demon.co.uk/jo/units/volume.htm>, here's a 
handy conversion chart:

	1 mutchkin
	= 4 (Scots) gills
	= 2.996 imperial gills
	= 0.4247 litres
	= 0.0936 imperial gallons
	= 0.1124 US gallons

Which, combined with the currency converter at 
<http://www.ozforex.com.au/cgi-bin/Convert.asp>, makes the current price in 
the Northern suburbs of Melbourne (AU$0.897/L for regular unleaded) about 
(drumroll):

32.9 Albanian leks per mutchkin.

Cheap at twice the price!
