Being on the interwebs automatically instills a healthy amount of
doubt in anything I deal with involving entities in which a refund
process is dubious. But, economy blah blah blah, I decided to go that
route, the "help my fellow man/woman/trekie".

Which has served me well, since even though I'm spending more money,
there's cases like this where I pick up two gems for a price less than
original retail on one of them (including shipping), and I also get a
form of distant interaction with people who take the same approach I
do to dealing with people: remembering you're dealing with people.
<insert political remarks here>

Am I bothered by the fact I almost squee'd aloud getting said books in
the first place? Not really.
