Also cheaper guitars may not have the best placing of frets/bridge (ie the intonation is way out). But meh, if you're a beginner, you may not notice[1]

[1] I get annoyed with guitars because of the compromises required for equal temperament -v- just; the wolf fifths just kill me - I don't notice it on pianos, but guitars...
