[thechat] Suggestions?

After a lot of research and a budget of $2.5k or less last November, I
ended up with a Lenovo W530. I think it was $2.3k all told, including an
employee discount which is easy to find if you know someone who knows
someone who knows someone who works for IBM. My priorities were a great
screen, durability and better than average graphics card. I'm very happy
with my decision.

Were I to do it again, I'd have done a clean Windows install as soon as I
got it as the vendor software has gotten in the way a few times. I was also
disappointed that it took over two weeks to get it when the shipping
estimate was 1 week. But overall, it was a good decision.
