actually, a couple other people on this list have had a hand in getting
them on paper.

also, some people are (incorrectly) assuming that evolt is currently a
501(c).(a lot of this can be confusing) to become a 501(c), you first need
a corporation in place. then you apply to the IRS to become a 501(c), AKA
non profit, not for profit, etc. it supposedly takes between a 9 months to
a year, as they'd like to get an idea why you should be a NFP and if you
have the right to(what kind of money are you dealing with, for what
purpose, etc.) become one. if they approve you, it's retroactive to the
point of incorporation, max 1 year i believe.

just want to make sure people are aware of whats out there and how it
currently stands.. IMO, and theres a lot of history behind it, the issues
surrounding the incorporation and NFP'ing of evolt have been more trouble
than the problems we were trying to deal with in the first place..
