Wow, ya learn something new every day.

Olaf Kolzig has to take the cake on unusual birthplaces in hockey.  Born in 
that great hockey hotbed of South Africa.

(Again, for the nonhockeyphiles: Olaf Kolzig is the goalie for the 
Washington Capitals.)
