huh?  wazzat?  why do i always get suspicious when people look 
to me to define shady terms?

erm, but yeah, what you've read so far is pretty accurate, based on 
on how i've seen it used, and how it sounds...

really anything designed to generate links to your site would 
qualify, IMO, regardless of how you do it...
