I think you're spot on, Matt. Now you point it out, it bugs the
hell out of me too...

oh shit, that's why I've been rating all the ASP articles so badly

Which also has a *bit* of this factor in there too, but yeah,
it's a 5 imo for quality anyway,

True, but what's happened before is that articles do get rated
very highly at first, but because they've only got a few ratings,
a few lower ones pull it back down again - it takes a *lot* to
be rated 4.69 after 42 ratings; one 4 instead of a 5 only moves
it by .02 of a point or so.

Looking at it now, a couple of ratings have pulled it down by
about .2 - off the top 5 list. It is a good article, though - very
positive.
