ya, a 'email me when this site is updated' kind of thing sounds better
than 'newsletter'.

to get it done, i'd recommend we do it from the user page, just like
theres an option to get notices of comments to an article or hiding your
email, that would be the best place for one to subscribe to this service

thoughts?
