if you wrap every line, how do you plan to allow seamless cut-n-
paste?  where you gonna do the wrap?  server side (which results 
in code with hard breaks) or via script (which presents issues with 
people like me)?

but some people don't like that (are we killing that only because 
of aesthetic complaints, or technical issues, or UI reasons?)...

so, <div>s with clipping or the like, so that those on newer 
browsers get access to the code, and those on older browsers will 
just get a wide page... ?
