ok, now i'm confused... the T1 is a fixed cost to starkmedia, *not*
evolt.org...

now, if starkmedia chooses to sell bandwidth at a fixed cost up to a
certain amount transferred then, there's evolt.org's fixed cost...

is that correct?  we have a hosting arrangement with a ceiling on it?
 can we not lower that ceiling and get a lower monthly rate?

hmmm.... i see all this, but if we had either throttling (or
whatever) in place, or beo was hosted elsewhere, couldn't we drop our
bandwidth needs and lower the cost?

yes, i know, i'm asking this twice, but that's because i'm trying to
understand why we can't just lower our fixed cost...
