Sorry, Michele. Not the case. Only nominated individuals - Dan
plus those he chose to share it with. If you had access it wasn't
by right of your general admin access.

And I really do think the numerous posts today have emphasised

1) This is not a question of what other capabilities have been
developed - which are many and wonderful - but of *using*
one of them which was already there. So claiming all the other
features is an entirely different issue
    http://www.datanation.com/fallacies/irrelev.htm

2) As Seb said, "it is *not* a technical decision to implement them.
When something like that affects literally thousands of people, then it
has
to be the informed decision of the entire community." When members of
a list request the implementation of a feature, how can a list admin
argue? Every list which has been allowed to express a preference has
unanimously or nearly (when thesite talked about it in Feb there were
2 objections) demanded it. *That's* why it's the right answer - it's not
an a priori "subscribers-only is right" answer, it's a "the community
wants it" answer. Again, it's an irrelevant conclusion

3) Please, no ad hominems. Even if you feel others have already
used them - are you really helping by perpetuating and escalating
    them?

Cheers
Martin
