thanks.  yeah, it does change things in my mind, but not how you might
think.

instead of being able to come up with less than 10% of accounts that
contribute back to the community i can probably come up with less than 2%.
my vote on meo (other than basic email)?  let it pay it's own way.

for the record, i have a meo account.  i've got links all over the net to
stuff on my meo site.  heck, the front door is my resume.  potential
employers all over the place have bookmarks to it.  i'd hate to lose that.
but, if keeping meo means the organization as a whole suffers, then i don't
see the point, no matter how "cool" it is.  if the vote is to go for a
donation-driven meo service, i'd be down with dropping some cash to keep my
meo account.
