Hi John,

Hope you don't mind an off-list email.

You are not alone in your feelings. We are realizing the result of a
good year or more worth of what has been prominent in the last two
weeks. With good level headed people, interested in the best for
evolt.org and the people using it, good will prevail. Bear with it and
keep pushing for what is right and good. You will find company in that
position.

Traffic is way down on all lists, aardvark is struggling with the change
to subscriber-only posts on thelist, and all the changes that "the few"
have been harping on for at least a year and finally got, are showing
the fruit. things were the way they were for a reason. It is becoming
apparent now. You should be able to tell who "the few" are, aardvark
not one of them, just had a hardon for subscriber-only.

Again, there are more that are with the original concepts and want to
keep things good, than those that want things . . . "corporate?". Hang
with the good until we get it fixed. maybe we can get the problems
"evicted" soon. I don't think it will bring djc back, but I think he
will remain "involved" for many years to come.

btw, neoncowboy.com? where are you located? I am a Texan, transplanted
in Virginia, and wondering if you may be in my neck of the woods (home
area)?
