Memo from Martin P Burns of PricewaterhouseCoopers

-------------------- Start of message text --------------------

Do people who've volunteered for admining evolt lists mind which list they
admin? I know that Erika and I expressed a preference for thechat, but does
anyone else have strong desires one way or another?

If people have a burning desire to manage thelist, then great, but we do
have several other lists... spreading the people in geographic clusters
over the range of lists we have would make sense from a workload viewpoint,
a timezone viewpoint and a locking viewpoint.

Cheers
Martin

Yes, that's worth keeping in mind.
Fortunately, the volunteers are fairly well-distributed over the globe. So,
for example, Isaac will probably not be admining (is that a word?) thelist
at the same time as, say, Dean.

As things stand now, we've got 5 volunteers in North America, 3 in Europe,
1 in Asia, and 1 in Australia.

Madhu

I have every intention of helping evolt.org turn into something that
doesn't *need* me...
