Fair enough.  Also, I now notice that you said "errr" and not "error", which
changes your reply slightly.  I believed you were saying that using
webservices was possibly an error, rather than saying "it might be possible,
but you weren't sure".

BTW, sharing data between subsites as well as an integrated login is just
the sort of thing webservices are really good at.
