do you have "#000000;" somewhere for a bgcolor or style attribute? and it's
within a cfoutput or something?

if so, you'll have to double-hash it (and CF will convert it to a single #)

ie:

style="color:##000000;"


that might be the problem. paste some code from that region perhaps?
