i'll bet you were using ie5.x or ns4.x - i could replicate this on both 
those browsers, but pressing 'back' in NS6 had all my stuff still in the 
fields.. i dunno enough about browsers to expand on this, but i'm going 
to say this is a browser specific thing, not an evolt thing.
