Yes, that's core accessibility. However, as r-g colour blindness is
surprisingly common, I'd like to support colour blind users without
recourse to alt-tags.

You'd use [d] links to link to the URL which contains the longdesc,
to support text-to-speech browsers which don't support longdesc
