Yes.  These are converted into query result columns.  They are the mandatory
mail fields: From, To, Date, Subject, Message-ID, and In-Reply-To.  I can
also tweak the tags to pick up proprietary headers (X-Headers) if we need
to.

We can replace carriage returns with <br> and special characters with their
html entity codes.  I think that this would be preferrable to <pre> because
it will allow the text to wrap if it's absolutely necessarry.
