[thesite] cosmetic thing in IE Mac 5

Something that's been bugging me a bit:

When I view the evolt site in IE 5 Mac, the content area is a wee bit 
wider than the black "masthead" area - when I take out the width="1%" 
on the first and last cells in the main table, everything is plumb. 
Here are screenshots so you can see what I'm talking about:

A small, anal cosmetic thing, but the site is a really beautifully 
understated design and the small blemish kinda stands out ... since 
the middle cell is 98 percent, wouldn't the 1%'s be implied for the 
other two cells? That page above has the one percents taken out ... 
does it look OK?
