right now we've got:
a:link
a:visited
a:hover

so, change the :hover to :active, but don't add it...

*why*?  i don't see why we need to do that, it hasn't been 
necessary for a year now, no one seems to have problems with it 
as-is...  it doesn't make the code more correct... if anything, it 
means we have to class another element, which doesn't seem 
necessary...

i guess i need to know why the <a> needs a class...  so far, i 
haven't heard anything, unless i've missed it in the early part of the 
thread...
