cool.  you just need to understand what it's for so you can write an
accurate description that will make sense to the average user.

none yet.  there's *alot* of work to get this working.  before i get too
involved in it i'd like to see the proposed output as that may affect what
information i collect and how i collect it.

agreed.  i think we could easily add it to the edit account page.  it
doesn't need to go in the database either.  it could just as easily be in a
text file.

no, this isn't the kind of problem i'm talking about.  these two instances
of email address are stored in different places in the database.  the one on
the "create membership" page is stored in the member table.  the one on the
"edit account" page is stored in the user table.
