What's wrong with:

"Temporarily disable mail delivery (this is useful if you don't want to
receive messages while on holiday for a while):

The extra comment is there to clarify how temporary the disabling is. It is
for a day, or a week, or as long as you take to re-enable it?

Why does it need to be off/on? The form values can remain whatever they are,
but I'd change these labels to Yes/No.

We could even avoid the word "temporarily" and just call it "Holiday Mode"
or something similar.
