whatever.  i don't really care either way.  i was just trying to improve the
performance of the site.  if everyone is happy with the speed of it then no
worries.

which really isn't all that new.  there's not much different that'll
actually improve the performance.  if anything it'll degrade further with
this iteration.

there's no solid argument against caching since there are solutions for the
one concern that'll be brought up.  the difficult part is the time it takes
to implement those solutions.
