i think it's good enough article to warrant the effort.  so, i went ahead
and updated it on t.e.o.  there were a number of other small things that
needed to be addressed in the html as well.

agreed.

it failed some basic html validation requirements like closing tags, block
level elements being nested, use of <font> tags, etc.

i'd like feedback on the changes i made to the article.
