Hi folks,


Just a quick note ... If you do a 'trim mean' ... just be sure that you
trim both tails ... E.g. For a "10% trim mean" you throw out the 5%
lowest scores *and* the 5% highest scores ... it's a 'balance' thing.

(Yup - The arithmatic mean is just one "measure of centrality" ... there
are many others ... median and mode to name two that may be readily
available in many standard packages of math/stat functions.  {Sorry -
don't have any documentation handy - Is median a standard CF function? -
that would probably take care of this pretty simply.})

i like that idea as well though that calculation will be much more
difficult
to perform.
