Whoa there folks, we haven't coded it yet!

It's good to hear enthusiasm for the idea though. While on the subject of
multiple admins here's a couple of related unresolved issues I've been
thinking about. Suggestions/thoughts would be useful.

To authenticate editors my plan was to create a new editors table with two
fields - the editor's w.e.o. user login ID (or username) and the CatID of
the category they are admin for. Both fields would be primary keys so one
editor could have several entries (and hence edit several categories).

I hope that I could authenticate using the w.e.o. cookie somehow then
query the editors database to see if that user has editor privilages and
display the pages accordingly. I don't understand the ins and outs of the
w.e.o. login system so I'm not really in a position to know if that would
work. If someone could fill me in (offlist would be best I'm
guessing) that would be helpful.

Secondly, I've thought a bit about allowing multiple editors for a single
category and/or letting editor permissions propagate down the directory
tree structure. Although it sounds neat, in practice I have a hunch it
might cause problems in the long run. Any thoughts on the best approach?

Simon
