Ok, I'm starting to see the problem now.  It looks like it happens
after getting a MIME error.  Funny thing is, I re-load the message and
the MIME error goes away.  It seems that since the messages aren't
being moved out of the INBOX, the filter gets run on the messages
repeatedly.  It also seems to prevent you from delete the messages.  I
can also sometimes delete the messages.  It's a very inconsistent
error.  I don't have enough time to look into this extensively.  In
the meantime, you may want to use POP to fetch your messages.
