Never assume anything about Mr. Moneybags. I was involved with a
potential web deal with a major bank only to find out that the computers
they were using had 13 - 15" monitors and their proxies and firewalls
basically blocked anything over a certain size. Security was everything
and what we were proposing would not have been even possible. So much
for one of the richest business' in Canada.

You also don't know what kind of computers the company may be using,
many companies, with a lot of money, are still using 486's and P133's
running Netscape 4.7. Mr. Moneybags is not going to wait for a 128k
webpage to make its way through the company firewall and then to load on
his old computer.

Unfortunately, I do not have any hard stats for you to show your client,
just my own experience. But, my own experience dictates that the
wealthiest people out their usually don't have the most advanced and up
to date computer networks running in their business'.

Never assume...

How completely DEADLY is a 128k home page under these circs? I firmly
believe it's bad and wrong because we don't know, for instance, if Bob
Moneybags, the potential investor, might have a 33.6 modem at home and
get tweaked 'cause he can't see the site. Since I have this enormous
mindpool to tap, figured I should check my assumptions before starting a
battle. Are there other potential disasters?

Thanks so much.
