[thelist] Image Loading Order

I'm probably being a bit thick but I don't seem to be able to find a simple
piece of javascript (or similar instruction) that will force a browser to
load images from top to bottom. I don't want to individually specify images
in the script but would like to know if there is an instruction that could
simply request that image files (in general) load from the top downwards.

Would appreciate any pointers here. Many thanks.
