Yes. Sites will appear somewhat differently depending on a variety of
factors (browser/OS/screen resolution...). It's impossible to test every
possible scenario. However, the use of standards can help improve the
chances of a site "working" on a wide variety of platforms (with most
modern browsers).
A quick scan through the source code at http://tableauxenligne.com/
provided me with sufficient evidence that something bad could happen
using this service. If you're not inclined to look at source code before
choosing a product, feel free to ask the list, and I'm sure that you
receive useful feedback.
