Thanks Georg!  Glad to see you're around on this list as well as css-d. 
    (I tend to avoid css-d due to the sheer volume of msgs going through).

I'm not about to use a <br /> if I can help it, but you got me on the 
right track and it's working fine again.  IE and floats... sigh.
