Hiya Nan,

It is de facto Apple policy not to run allow Flash on iOS, as part of
a pseudo-ideological commitment resulting from brash words by Steve
Jobs at a keynote (no seriously). Apple have no intention of changing
this, and according to them Flash is evil & bloated.

On the other hand, Android can run Flash on later models, but
performance is unreliable.

An HTML construct with CSS transitions are an excellent alternative —
transitions make use of native hardware acceleration where available
and offer much smoother animations: there's a good article on the
subject here: http://www.html5rocks.com/tutorials/speed/html5/
