In the game of life, there are many constraints and rules and similarly
there are coding constraints and rules (syntax). If you don't like the
constraints and rules, play another game. ;-}

That's just the point. We can be lazy and careless - and the code still
works fine. 
There is a quotation that says something like "give a job to a lazy man and
he will find the most efficient way of doing it". JMHO (just my humble
opinion).
